The equipment is mainly used for the processing of clear roots  narrow U-shaped bevels on the outer side of the innerring seam  inner longitudinal seam welding of the cylinder body.The processed groove is a narrow gap groove, the bo-ttom R=9mm  the side is a 3 degree slope. For a 180mm thick wall the width of the opening is about 32mm,the narrowgap submerged arc welding is performed after processing into a U-shaped groove..
